I am a Yorkshire-based Illustrator and busy mum of two somehow creeping ever closer to 40.
I like drinking alot of tea, spending time with my family and friends, out on my bike or playing tennis. But I don't like it when people bang on themselves too long so I'll keep it short...

For over 15 years, I've been creating bold, playful artwork that helps make subjects like history, science and geography much easier to get your head around and most importantly loads of fun!
I love working closely with passionate experts like scientists, historians, educators and museum folks who know their stuff - helping them turn big ideas into engaging artwork that reaches people who perhaps thought those subjects weren't for them.

If my work can make someone smile, help them learn something new or see a topic in a different way then I've done my job.
Everything I create is hand drawn, often combining illustration with hand lettering.
I also offer school visits and creative workshops.
